The course stems from the need to deepen and broaden our knowledge and understanding of the diverse forms of extremism and radicalization in contemporary societies, which must be analyzed and tackled with theoretical and methodological tools that are capable of keeping pace with the ever-changing nature of the threat. The course is divided into 4 different modules aiming to identify, analyze, and explore radicalization dynamics, tools, and strategies for preventing and countering extremism, and contemporary and future trends.

Programme
The live-streaming online classes will take place from 17 to 25 October 2024, on Thursdays and Fridays, from 9 AM to 1 PM
The program consists of a 16 hour-training, divided by four different modules:
• Radicalization, counter-radicalization, and de-radicalization: theoretical framework
• Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) and Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)
• Counter-radicalization and de-radicalization: contemporary experiences
• Radicalization, change, and emerging Threats
